FATES - Monarchs

Image with methane gas sky and supermarket background, butterfly foreground.

In this future, industrial farming furores borne of human over-production of meat and grains have collapsed, leading to a methane-infused atmosphere, habitable only by insects. A transgenic disaster of biotech foods has caused mutations in Monarch butterflies, meaning humans can no longer breathe the air unaided and they are now the hunted.

Will you stay and fight for your fallen comrades, turn to page 66. Or will you accept your winged doom with a stiff upper lip, turn to page 9.
