Reel Eskate is a documentary proposal for a film about bringing cities together via the annual celebration of Go Skateboarding Day. In many countries around the world this day is celebrated in full force, where the streets become a chanting song, all for the love of skateboarding. However, in Vienna, Austria the tradition is not recognised, which is a shame.

We wanted to show that it could be and how this could happen; how does your city skate? Using the point of view of 9 year-old skateboarder Elijah and contrasting a patchwork design of a selection of cities around the world with Vienna. If this city can´t show the world its celebration, then we would bring the celebration to this city instead.
